At approximately 2:19am, police officers responded to the 6100 block of Creston Avenue in Pine Lawn. There they located Duan Regans Jr who had been shot. He was transported to the hospital where he died. A 19 year-old man was also shot but he survived his injury.

He had been shot and was transported to a St. Louis, MO hospital where he died. A 35 year-old man was also shot and transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gun shot injury.

Investigators are looking for a black passenger car that possibly has a white defect on the hood.

There they found Jarrett Obenauer (age 29) inside the vehicle dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The North County Police Cooperative requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Derrick Brookfield. At approximately 1:31am, police officers responded to the corner of Martin Luther King Dr and Ogden Ave in Wellston for a report of a shooting. There they located Derrick Brookfield (age 58) and another man who had both been shot. Derrick died from his injuries. The other man was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

As a result of this investigation, Cedric Maxwell Jr (age 28) was charged with Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Robbery 1st Degree, and Assault 1st Degree. His bond was set at $1,000,000.

Detectives are still looking for a second unidentified accomplice. The second suspect is not believed to be in the St. Louis area.

At approximately 7:09pm, officers responded to the 3400 Block of Lucas and Hunt in Beverly Hills, MO for a report of a shooting. There officers located a metro transit bus driver who had been shot in the upper body as he was driving the bus. The bus was occupied by several passengers at the time of the shooting. The passengers reported the gunshot originated from outside the bus and struck the driver as the bus was moving. The bus driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
