The Major Case Squad relies on a strong working relationship with the media to report useful information in the cases being investigated with the hopes that someone provides information leading to the arrest of a suspect. During an activation, the Deputy Commander in charge of the investigation or a designated Public Information Officer will ensure that the media is provided with the most up to date and reportable information. The Squad releases information in the form of Press Conferences, Press Releases, and releases on social media.
