The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Kiley Kennedy. At approximately 7:05am, deputies responded to the area of State Hwy 100 and Country Air Drive near Pacific, MO for a call of a female lying next to a vehicle. There deputies located Kiley Kennedy (age 18) who had been shot. She was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, the following criminal charges were issued:
Michael Drake (age 16 - charged as an adult) - Murder 2nd Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, and Armed Criminal Action.
Jacob Devoto (age 17 - charged as an adult) - Murder 2nd Degree and Robbery 1st Degree - Bond $500,000
