The Madison Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Reginald Beasley III (age 28). At approximately 11:03pm, police officers responded to the Madison Meat Market (308 Madison Avenue) for a report of a shooting. There they located Reginald Beasley inside a vehicle. He had been shot and was transported to a St. Louis, MO hospital where he died. A 35 year-old man was also shot and transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gun shot injury.
Investigators are looking for a black passenger car that possibly has a white defect on the hood.
