The Normandy Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Eugene Davis (age 30). At approximately 9:45pm, police officers were sent to a residence in the 7700 block of Woodstock Road for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they located Eugene Davis inside the residence. He had been shot and was transported to the hospital where he died.
