The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Tyress Wilson. At approximately 6:46am, deputies responded to the 20 block of Eastland Dr, Belleville for a report of a subject down. There they found Tyress Wilson (age 31) deceased in the front yard of a residence. It was determined his death was a homicide.
