The Collinsville Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Devin Judd. At approximately 11:30pm, police officers responded to the Collinsville Hampton Inn (7 Commerce Drive) when Devin Judd (age 23) walked in there with a gunshot wound. Judd was transported to the hospital where he died.
As a result of this investigation, the following criminal charges were issued:
Caleb Smith (age 20) - 1st Degree Murder (3 counts), Armed Robbery, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon. His bond was set at $500,000.
Dakota Winters (age 24) - Armed Robbery. Her bond was set at $200,000.
