The Ferguson Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Cameron Jackson. At approximately 12:30pm, the Ferguson Police Department received calls of shots fired in the 2900 block of Canfield Drive. Upon their arrival, they observed a vehicle in the street with two male victims ages 15 and 16 years old. The victims were transported to an area hospital where the 15 year-old, identified as Cameron Jackson, died of his injuries. The 16 year-old was hospitalized in serious condition.
Tywone Lee (age 19) and Brianna Owens (age 19) were both charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence in Felony Prosecution. Tywone had a $100,000 bond and Brianna had a $25,000 bond.
