The North County Police Cooperative requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the murder of Patrick Leeper. On 2-12-2020 around 1:30pm, police were called to the 6500 block of Glenmore Avenue in Uplands Park outside of Pine Lawn. Police discovered Patrick Leeper (age 30) had been shot and killed inside his residence.
As a result of this investigation, Tyree Devrouax (age 17) as well as a 16 year-old juvenile and a 15 year-old juvenile were taken into custody. Tyree was charged with Murder-2nd Degree, Robbery-1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Receiving Stolen Property. Charges for the juveniles have not been disclosed.
