The North County Police Cooperative requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Etim O’Tudor. North County Police Cooperative officers responded to the 6100 block of Ella Ave in Wellston at approximately 12:40am for a report of a van on fire. The body of Etim O’Tudor (age 51) was found near the van.
As a result of this investigation, Kevin Perkins Jr (age 28) was charged with Murder 2nd Degree, Knowingly Burning, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. His bond was set at $250,000 cash only.
