The North County Police Cooperative requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Jermarrio Morris. At approximately 10:59pm, police officers responded to the 4100 block of Cedarwood in Pine Lawn for a triple shooting. There they found Jermarrio Morris (age 34) dead from a gunshot wound. A 39 year-old female was shot in the abdomen and taken to the hospital in critical condition. A 32 year-old man was shot in the leg. He was treated at the hospital and released.
