The Pagedale Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Lawrence Clark (age 15). At approximately 1:00pm, officers responded to the 1500 block of Purdue Avenue for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they located Lawrence. on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds. Lawrence was pronounced dead on the scene,

As a result of this investigation, a juvenile male suspect was charged with Murder 2nd Degree, 2 charges of Assault 1st Degree, and 3 charges of Armed Criminal Action.
