The North County Police Cooperative requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Keith Usery (age 44). At approximately 6:48pm, officers responded to the 50 block of South Schlueter Avenue for a call of a person shot inside the residence. When officers arrived on scene, they located Keith deceased inside his residence where he had been shot. He was pronounced dead on scene.
