The Normandy Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Synciere Jamison (age 20). At approximately 6:30pm, police officers responded to the area of the 1700 block of South Florissant Road in Cool Valley, MO for a report of shots fired. At that time they did not locate a victim. At approximately 11:30pm, police were called back to the area of the BP Gas Station (1790 South Florissant Road, Cool Valley, MO) for a report of a person shot inside a vehicle. There they located Synciere Jamison. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, Elevion Washington (age 20) was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
