The St. Ann Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Terrance Washington (age 32). At approximately 12:15am, police officers responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Douglas Court for a report of shots fired. There they located Terrance Washington on the porch. He had been shot and killed.
As a result of this investigation, James Cody (age 30) was charged with Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
