The Belleville Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of DeAnte White Sr (age 33). On 08/12/2022 at approximately 10:45pm, police officers responded to the 9900 block of West Main Street for a report of a male shot. There they located DeAnte White Sr. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
