The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Christopher Wright. At approximately 4:30pm, deputies responded to a residence in the 30 block of Grizzly’s Lane near Troy, MO for a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival they located Christopher Wright (age 44) who had been stabbed. He was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, Alex Kersting (age 24) and Monica Deroy (age 41) were identified as persons of interest in this case. They were both located and arrested. This case is currently being reviewed by the Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
