The Hazelwood Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Terry St. John Jr. At approximately 4:20pm, officers responded to the 400 block of Candlelight Lane for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival they located three male victims who had been shot. Terry St John Jr (age 23) was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims were transported to the hospital and treated for their injuries.
As a result of this investigation, Quincy Haulcy (age 21), was charged with the following:
Murder 1st Degree (1 count)
Armed Criminal Action (5 counts)
Assault 1st Degree (2 counts)
Attempted Assault 1st Degree (1 count)
Unlawful Use of a Weapon (1 count)
He was arrested on a no-bond warrant.
