Suspect: 16-year old juvenile male
The Overland Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Michael Holland. At approximately 3:00pm, officers responded to the 1800 block of Spencer Avenue for a report of a shooting. There officers located Michael Holland (age 32) who had been shot. Michael was pronounced dead on the scene.
As a result of this investigation, a 16 year-old juvenile male was arrested on charges of Murder 2nd Degree, Assault 1st Degree, and Armed Criminal Action. It was determined the incident was a result of a feud between the suspect and an acquaintance of the victim.
