The North County Police Cooperative requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Deron Wickerson. At approximately 5:20am, officers responded to Westdell Drive in Dellwood for a report of shots fired. There they located Deron Wickerson (age 28) who had been shot in the leg. He was transported to the hospital where he died.
As a result of this investigation, Elijah Juan Williams (age 27) and Daylan Williams (age 18) were each charged with Murder 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action. Their bond was set at $30,000 each.
