The Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad to investigate the death of Brandi Zamora (age 31). At approximately 8:00pm, a 911 call was received regarding a shooting on westbound Interstate 270 between Hwy 367 and Old Halls Ferry Road. Brandi was in a vehicle when an unknown person in another vehicle opened fire. Brandi was shot and taken to a local hospital. She died from the gunshot wound several days later. A black male driving a silver car was seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting.
