The Macoupin County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in the investigation of a missing female. Denita Hedden was last seen on 01/25/2018 in Royal Lakes, IL. Evidence suggested foul play was involved in Hedden’s disappearance. Investigators spent 12 days performing interviews and organizing search operations for Hedden that included over 22,400 acres of rural terrain and 70 miles of roadway. Hedden was 37 years old at the time of her disappearance and was described as a white female, 5’0” tall and weighing approximately 110 lbs.
