The Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Dorwin Overall. On 12-02-2016 around 11:00pm, police officers responded to the area of Bellefontaine Road and Gabriel where they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was identified as Dorwin Overall (age 25) who was pronounced dead. The other victim was hospitalized. A third person was later located who had also been shot and was treated at a local hospital. Dorwin Overall and the other two individuals were all shot in a gunbattle in the 11000 block of Bellefontaine Road, between two vehicles as they were moving down the street.
