The Sauget Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Kiron Carter. Sauget police were patrolling the 1200 block of Queeny Avenue near Route 3 in Sauget on 11-5-2016 around 1:00 am when police noticed a blue Ford truck parked on the side of the road still running. When police looked inside the truck, they found the body of Kiron Carter (age 23).
Investigators are looking for information from anyone who may have seen Carter before noon on Friday 11-4-2016 or anyone who may have been seen driving the Ford pickup truck. The vehicle was reported stolen in St. Louis on Tuesday 11-1-2016.
