The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Kenneth Allen, Jr. On 11-02-2016 at around 8:15am, Franklin County deputies responded to the 300 block of Elmwood Estates Dr, Washington, MO for a report of a man down. When they arrived on scene, they discovered the body of Kenneth Allen Jr (age 70) inside his residence.
As a result of this investigation, the following criminal charges were issued:
Blake Schindler (age 17 - charged as an adult) - Murder 2nd Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Felonious Restraint - Bond $200,000
Timothy Wonish (age 32) - Involuntary Manslaughter, 1st Degree Burglary, and Receiving Stolen Property - Bond $200,000
Whitney Robins (age 28) - Involuntary Manslaughter, 1st Degree Burglary, and Receiving Stolen Property - Bond $200,000.
