The Overland Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Mussie Gebregziabher. At approximately 4:00am, police were called to a home in the 2400 block of Leslie Avenue for a report of a shooting. There they found Mussie Gebregziabher (age 26) dead from gunshot wounds.
As a result of this investigation, Ricardo Cueto (age 25) was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action. His bond was set at $500,000.
