The Madison, IL Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Roderick Williams. At approximately 12:49am, police responded to the area of 7th St and Alton Ave for a report of shots fired. There they found two men shot inside of a vehicle. Roderick Williams (age 31) was taken to a hospital where he died. The other victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
