The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Aubrey Harvey. At approximately 6:32am, deputies responded to the 6600 block of Dry Creek Road in Barnhart, MO. Aubrey Harris (age 3) was pronounced dead on scene. William Harris (age 25) was the boyfriend of Aubrey’s mother. Aubrey had been left in William’s care while Aubrey’s mother was at work.
As a result of this investigation, William Harris was charged with Abuse or Neglect of a Child Resulting in Death. His bail was set at $500,000 cash only.
