The Ferguson Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Tyler Mozee. At approximately 5:21pm, police officers responded to the Park Ridge Apartment Complex in the 1300 block of Sharondale Circle for a report of a shooting. Tyler Mozee (age 24) was located at the scene and was pronounced dead from his injuries.
During the investigation into this case, a suspect was identified. However, the suspect died before criminal charges could be filed against him.
