The Hazelwood Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Taylor Clark (age 19). Clark had been reported as missing with the Madison County (IL) Sheriff’s Office around 8:00pm on 5-4-2015. Clark’s red 2007 Nissan 350ZX, which he had listed on the internet for sale, was located around 6:00pm on 5-5-2015 in the parking lot of a truck driving school on Missouri Bottom Road in Hazelwood. Clark’s body was located about 400 yards from his vehicle in a shallow grave. He had been shot.
As a result of this investigation, Michael Gordon (age 24) was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
