The Sunset Hills Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Terry Tobey. At around 5:00pm, police were called to a residence on Bradford Woods Drive for a report of a sudden death after neighbors checked on Terry Tobey (age 86). Officers arrived on scene and found Terry deceased in her bedroom. She had been shot.
As a result of this investigation, Mark Patton (age 66) was charged with 2nd Degree Murder, 1st Degree Burglary, and Armed Criminal Action. His bond was set at $500,000.
