The Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Antoine Hall. Around 10:23pm, police officers responded to the 1200 block of Laire Drive for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located Antoine Hall (age 19) inside the residence. Hall had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
With the assistance of this investigation that was continued by the Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department, Huel Jenkins Jr (age 19 at the time of Antoine’s death) was charged 2 years later with Murder 2nd Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, and Armed Criminal Action. His bond was set at $250,000 cash only.
