The Cahokia Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Allen Templeton. At around 1:00am, police officers responded to the area of Route 3 and Circle Creek Drive for a report of gunshots. They found Allen Templeton (age 17) lying in the street with gunshot wounds.
As a result of this investigation, the following criminal charges were issued in Templeton’s death:
Henry Davis (age 23) - 1st Degree Murder. Davis’ bond was set at $5,000,000.
Nikkei Turner (age 23) - 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated Unlawful Restraint. Turner’s bond was set at $3,000,000.
