The Madison Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Jarrett Mosby. At around 12:44pm, police officers responded to the area of Second and Bissell for a report of a traffic crash. When they arrived on scene, they found Jarret Mosby (age 21) dead inside his car. He had been shot multiple times.
As a result of this investigation, Deneshion Swope (age 24) was charged with 1st Degree Murder. His bond was set at $500,000.
