The Cahokia Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Jarius Nicholson. At approximately 7:28pm, police officers responded to St. Ambrose Drive for a report of a person that had been shot. There they found Jarius Nicholson (age 18) on the ground. He was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, the following criminal charges were issued in Nicholson’s death:
Allen Holloway III (age 19) - 1st Degree Murder - Bond $1,500,000
Emanuel Henderson (age 25) - 1st Degree Murder - Bond $1,000,000
William Henderson Jr (age 26) - Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of Weapon by a Felon - Bond $250,000
