The Chesterfield Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of a 33 year-old male. At approximately 3:23pm, police officers responded to the 1100 block of North Mills Wood Road for a call to “stand by and keep the peace”. A female was moving out of the residence but had been unable to contact the male resident for the past two days so she could obtain her property. The door was bolted from the inside and she could not gain access to the residence.

Police officers were able to make entry into the residence. There they found the male deceased inside the residence. After an extensive investigation, it was determined the male committed suicide by stabbing himself .
