The Creve Coeur Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Susan Schaffer. At approximately 4:18pm, police officers responded to a home in the 12900 block of Nimes Drive for a report of a sick person. When officers arrived, they found Susan Schaffer (age 48) deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. It was believed Susan was shot after interrupting a burglary in progress inside her residence.
As a result of this investigation, Lorenzo Wilson (age 17) and Kenneth Shepard (age 17) were arrested in Susan Schaffer’s death:
Lorenzo Wilson was arrested on a no-bond warrant for the following charges:

Burglary 1st Degree

Kenneth Shepard was arrested on a no-bond warrant for the following charges:
