The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Blake Harvey. Deputies responded to the 600 block of East State St, O’Fallon, IL for a report of a deceased person inside the residence. There they found Blake Harvey (age 49) deceased inside the residence. Blake had been located in the residence by a family member.
As a result of this investigation, Santoin Russell (age 23) was charged with 1st Degree Murder. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
Santoin Russell was also charged in a homicide for Major Case Squad Report #420.
