The East St. Louis Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Andrew Bethmann. At approximately 1:03pm, police officers responded to North End Baptist Church (100 block of Exchange Ave) for a death investigation. Church members had been cleaning a lot when they found a decomposed body. The victim was identified as Andrew Bethmann (age 37). Andrew went missing from St. Charles, MO on 07-26-2008.
