The Normandy Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Antonio Davis. Police officers responded to the 7700 block of Ellington Drive for a report of a shooting. There they located Antonio Davis (age 35) laying in the grass between the street and the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. Antonio was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
As a result of this investigation, the following criminal charges were issued in Antonio’s death:
Robert Ross (age 17) - Murder 2nd Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action - Bond $300,000
Michael Cooper Sr (age 37) - Murder 2nd Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action - Bond $250,000
