The Arnold Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of a 52 year-old man. At approximately 7:53am, police officers responded to a residence in Starling Community Trailer Park for a report of a residence engulfed in flames. After the fire was extinguished, they located the body of the 52 year-old man on the living room floor. The man was pronounced dead on scene.

After an investigation into the fire and the man’s death, it was determined the man had intentionally set the fire and committed suicide.
