The St. Charles City Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Keeon Anderson. At around 9:15pm, police officers responded to the intersection of First Capitol Drive and Cunningham Avenue on the edge of the Lindenwood University campus for a report of a car in a field with its engine running and the lights on. There they located Keeon Anderson (age 20) inside his red 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
As a result of this investigation, the following individuals were charged with Murder 2nd Degree, Attempted Robbery 1st Degree, and Armed Criminal Action in Keeon’s death. Their bond was set at $1,000,000 each.
