The Brentwood Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Jill Pena. At approximately 9:12pm, police officers responded to the 8500 block of Douglas Court for a report of a person who was sick. There they located Jill Pena (age 43) and her husband, Roland Pena (age 53), inside the residence deceased. They had each been shot. The couple’s young child had run to a neighbor’s house for help. The neighbor had called 911.
After a thorough investigation, it was determined Roland Pena shot his wife and killed her. He then shot and killed himself.
