The Caseyville Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Frances Clark. Police officers responded to a residence in the 8700 block of Botanical Avenue. There they located Frances Clark (age 97) after her son found her body inside her home. She was dead from multiple stab wounds.
As a result of this investigation, Frances’ neighbor, Lee Price (age 44), and Richard Oliver (age 33) were each charged with 1st Degree Murder. Their bond was set at $3,000,000 each.
