The Berkeley Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Jeremiah Eldridge. At approximately 2:20am, police officers responded to the 6700 block of Torlina Drive for a report of shots fired. There they located Jeremiah Eldridge (age 23) sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Jeremiah had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.
