At approximately 11:32am, Jennings police officers responded to a residence in the 7100 block of Paisley Drive in Flordell Hills, MO for a report of a man down. When police arrived, they located Brian Harvey (age 19) inside the residence. He was pronounced dead on scene. It was later determined he had died from multiple blunt trauma wounds to the head. Jennings PD provided police service for the Village of Flordell Hills, and Jennings PD requested the activation of the Major Case Squad.
As a result of this investigation, Derek Holmes (age 28) was charged with Murder 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action. He was arrested on a no-bond warrant.
