The Collinsville Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Frank Brown. At approximately 6:39pm, police officers responded to an apartment on Marcia Court for a report of suspicious circumstances. When police arrived, the caller told them there was a reddish stain running down her apartment wall. When officers went to the apartment above hers to investigate what was running down the caller’s wall, they located the body of Frank Brown (age 44) inside a trash can. His genitals were cut off and he was decapitated. His head was found inside the freezer.
As a result of this investigation, Frank’s girlfriend, Suzanne Johnson (age 40) was charged with 1st Degree Murder. She was arrested on a no-bond warrant.
