The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Christopher Petroff. Deputies responded to the 200 block of Bethel Road, near O’Fallon, IL, for a report of an unidentified body. When deputies arrived, they located Christopher Petroff (age 23) who was deceased. Christopher had been listed as a missing person with the Maryland Heights, MO Police Department.
