Suspect: Errol Otis Peyton

The Overland Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the death of Debra Gorman. At approximately 8:36pm, police officers responded to a residence in the 9600 block of Cedar Glen Drive for a report of a person shot in the throat. When police arrived, they located Debra Gorman (age 26) on the floor of the residence. She had been shot and was pronounced dead on scene.

With the assistance of this investigation, Debra’s boyfriend, Errol Peyton (age 24), was charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and Armed Criminal Action. His bond was set at $50,000.
