The Wentzville Police Department requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad in investigating the deaths of Myron Singleton and Terry Tutt. At approximately 10:43pm, police officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Hidden Valley Drive for a report of shots fired with people down. When officers arrived on scene, they located Myron Singleton (age 16) and Terry Tutt (age 26) who had both been shot. They were both taken to area hospitals where they both later died.
As a result of this investigation, Archie Hill (age 18) and George Graham (age 21) were each charged with two counts of Murder 1st Degree, one count of Assault 1st Degree, and three counts of Armed Criminal Action. Their bond wsa set at $2,500,000 each.
